10 Main Reasons Why Lagos Men Prefer Marrying Village Girls

Do village girls cook better than city girls?
They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Men love food and no man likes to return home and not meet a well prepared meal. Village ladies have the upper hand when it comes to performing wonders in the kitchen. Those delicacies that melt a man’s heart and remind him of those nostalgic past are made real by village ladies. Every meal is likely to be a sensation and not the usual rice and bread that is adopted during bachelorhood, Lagos girls on the other hand dwell on refrigerating and microwaving food which doesn’t give the same result. Some even order meals or drag their spouse to a restaurant. Lagos men would rather go for a home-made meal prepared with fresh ingredients and spiced with condiments rather than keep a daily date in the restaurant.

Traditional Conditions For The Emergence Of New Ooni Of Ife

IMG_0836_edit

Having put behind us the havoc done by the social media to the traditional procedure for announcing the departure of the occupant of the most revered stool in the Yoruba race, it is no longer news that Alayeluwa Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II, has not only joined his ancestors, he has indeed been interred with grandeur and majesty.
Inevitably, there have been speculations about potential successors to the revered throne – and the lists keep getting longer by the day. And, why not? The status of the Ooni in not just Yorubaland but nationally and internationally is such as to attract attention.
Even fellow royal fathers acknowledge the leadership of the occupant of the throne of Oduduwa. The position carries authority, influence and power. No matter the level of affluence attained by a potential Ooni before ascending the throne, the authority of the throne transforms him to another level of influence, status and power.
